beanie4048
On the shopping list, coconut flakes are encouraged as an oil source. However, all the coconut flakes I found in the store have added sugar. Are there flakes out there without added sugar? Please advise. Thanks. Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted January 3, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 3, 2015 There are. I order in bulk from Amazon. Bob's Red Mill has a no sugar version.
kirkor
Ya, I've only seen them at health food-type stores, the smaller shops and also chains like Whole Foods and Sprouts.

dlocs1021
The trick to getting coconut flakes is to not buy them from the baking aisle of the grocery store, those are usually the worse culprits for added sugar etc. Try the organic section of the store. Thats where I find the red mills one that was mentioned above. Its usually by the almond flour and coconut flour.
