SonyaCPerez
I'm on day 2. Day 1 started out great and then after lunch I threw up. I had chicken, walnuts, avocado and grapefruit for breakfast and then for lunch I had a chicken bowl of lettuce, guacamole, chicken and corn salsa. Anyone having problems with gastritis and the whole 30 meal plan?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 3, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 3, 2015 I'm sorry you are having problems. You are not on the Whole30 meal plan yet. Corn is specifically called out as not okay during a Whole30. Review the rules again. And you would also benefit from reviewing the meal planning template. http://whole30.com/downloads/official-whole30-program-rules.pdf http://whole30.com/downloads/whole30-meal-planning.pdf
SonyaCPerez
Oh yeah!! I totally missed that! Today is much better I'm starting to juice my veggies and fruits. Hopefully I can keep some protein down
praxisproject
If you're having trouble with the meal sizes, you could have template mini-meals while your stomach is adjusting. Do you often throw up from gastritis? Do you take any PPIs?
SonyaCPerez
Yes I take medication. Lately I've been throwing up several hours later of eating. I think smaller meals will help. Juicing so far has been really good. It's funny how I can drink different kinds of veggies and fruits but not eating them
