jeffneil
I'm on day 23 of my first Whole 30. First off, I'm loving it, I have nothing bad to say about it and I am already experiencing huge improvements, however I have noticed a new weird aversion to the taste of chicken. I remember somewhere reading that my tastes might change and wondering if anyone has experienced that. I don't think that I have been relying on chicken as a protein too much, I have actually been pretty varied on that. I have been eating beef, bison, lamb, turkey, several kinds of fish, and chicken. But starting in the second week i just can't seem to eat chicken, whether that be in a salad or grilled. It just doesn't taste good to me anymore. This is very odd for me as I usually eat it all the time.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted February 4, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 4, 2015 I don't have an aversion to chicken, but I quickly moved to preferring red meat or fatty fish like salmon to any kind of poultry. I still eat chicken occasionally, but not very much.
MeadowLily
The same thing happened to me. I didn't know what it was. It doesn't matter if it's free range, I don't give two hoots about chicken anymore.
