LyssaDragoo
I am only on day two of my whole thirty and today I had a larbar after my lunch and had strawberries with breakfast and dinner. Am I giving in too easy to my "sugar dragon" Do I need to start my Whole thirty over? I am very easily discouraged and really want to do this and do it right. GFChris
Take heart, you didn't break any rules. Keep going! For best results, have Lara Bars only in emergency situations. Fruit is fine to have with meals: try to avoid allowing fruit to push veggies off your plate. MeadowLily
Nope. You don't need to start over but it sounds like you're having a dessert after every meal. Ditch the Larabar dessert fix. You can have fruit 2X aday. Berries are good. Just make sure you have them with your meal. If they become a constant craving, watch how large your fruit servings are compared to the vegetables that are supposed to be on your plate. 3 cups of cooked/roasted vegetables - optimum choice at every meal. Delaine Ross
I've fallen in love with Epic Bars for emergency situations. They are not as sweet but are filling and delicious. Most are Whole30 compliant.
Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted June 10, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 10, 2015 Keep going! And plan ahead for next time by bringing better options that will keep in your purse or desk drawer. Always read labels, but I like the Bumble Bee tuna envelopes (Amazon) and brazilnuts.
