cupkayke
Does anyone have a suggestion for a Whole30 compliant breath freshener? I work as a medical assistant, and am pretty close to patients all day. Mint leaves? Tea tree toothpicks? I hate walking into a room and being paranoid about my post-lunch/morning coffee breath. Thanks in advance!

mantishugo
Cardamom is the best mouth fresher, IMO. However, I am not sure if it is Whole30 compliant. Does anybody have any idea?
cupkayke
I can't imagine why it wouldn't be compliant, it's just a spice! White or green? And the whole pod or just the seeds?
jmcbn
Yep, cardamom is compliant
cocoachai
A drop of peppermint essential oil in drinking water does many wonders, including freshening breath. But don't overdo it--one drop is very potent and can flavor an entire pitcher of water.
kruddock
Peppermint tea might also work, if you brew it strong enough.
