little_muffin
Hi, January will be my first Whole30 and I'm trying to get a bit organised. After my 2nd child 10months ago, I was diagnosed with post natal depression; near constant crying, horrendous mood swings, incredibly low feelings, you get the picture. I am just checking that I continue with the meds whilst following the program as I thought the whole point was to reset your body?? Also does anyone have any tips on foods to eat during cravings. Huge thanks Jenni Link to comment
AmyS
Keep taking your medications, yes. Eat plenty of protein and fat! Big hugs! Link to comment
Susan W
Amy is right. Physicians and their directives always trump W30. However, you may find yourself in such a better place because of how wonderfully you are nourishing yourself that you may be able to reduce or get off of your current meds. Welcome! Link to comment
Robin Strathdee
Yes, like everyone said - keep your meds until you and your doctor decide together to change things. Also, make sure you get plenty of carbohydrates, especially the starchies like sweet potatoes/yams, pumpkin, squash, carrots, beets, etc. Congratulations on your little one! Know that we're with you during this process. Link to comment
