sergiov
I was using a glutamine supplement before my whole 30, and now that I’ve cut it out, I’m experiencing tons of muscle soreness post workouts. Any tips? Any glutamine supplements that are whole 30 approved?
Moderators ultrarunnergirl Posted January 12, 2018 Moderators Share Posted January 12, 2018 I found that eating some lean protein and a little high carb veg like beets or sweet potato (I make my own but you can use baby food pouches, for convenience) makes recovery amazing. kirkor
How long had you been supping the glut, and how long have you been working out? And what kind of soreness are we talking about? DOMS or something greater? The actual efficacy of glutamine vs. how it's marketed are not necessarily synced up: https://examine.com/supplements/glutamine/
AtlantaJJ
Jarrow Formulas L-Glutamine does not contain any additives. I'm not sure why this would not be Whole30 compliant. I plan to take Branch Chain Amino Acids before and after my workouts. I have one that does not contain soy lecithin.
