shelley417
I mixed together 2 cup coconut milk and 2 1/2 Tb chia seed and put it into the refrigerator overnight. It gets thick. I have been experimenting with adding it to mashed sweet potato or butternut squash and one o 2 eggs mixed in or a fried egg on top ( still experimenting with amounts) to make a breakfast pudding. Is this SWOPO?
Susan W
What is the purpose of the chia seeds? I think I just read in the book that they are not recommended. Making a pudding would be SWYPO.
shelley417
The chia seeds help me with digestion. I am sure that Melissa has said that chia seeds are now ok. It's like putting cocnut milk into sweet potato and /or butternut squash but with chia seed in it.
Robin Strathdee
As long as you're not sweetening it and you're eating more protein and veg with it, I think its fine.
Susan W
Oh got it. I was thinking you made a desserty thing. I could have sworn they said chia seeds were packed with omega 6 but there is so much info in the book that I could totally have that wrong. Robin Strathdee
They're not your best option, but some folks genuinely like the taste. They're not verboten, but they're not encouraged either.
