Acetic Acid in canned tomatoes

I have googled this question to Whole30 but can't find an answer.  I went to the whole30 Forum and went throught several title headers and can't find a quick answer because there is no 'Search' button that I can locate on that page.

I found Fire Roasted canned tomatoes today but the only ingredient in question is the acetic acid.  Is that a natural part of the fermentation stage and it is compliant?

Also, fire roasted tomatoes aren't fermented.

Sometimes, you just need to google to find out what the ingredient is (leaving Whole30 out of it) and then it's usually pretty easy to make a decision if it's okay or not.
