Sarah Litwiller
I am on day 21 of my first whole 30. Weight loss was not my goal, but I didn't mind the first 8 pounds. The weight just keeps coming off, though. The last time I was this thin I was very sick. I eat a lot, more than most people seem to post about. Lots of oils and eggs, meat and a ton of veggies, and two pieces of fruit a day. Any advice?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 21, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 21, 2013 If you are following the meal template - http://whole9life.com/book/ISWF-Meal-Planning-Template.pdf - and are not hungry, I bet you are fine. If you feel hungry, the most expandable part of the menu is fat. You could add olives, avocado, coconut flakes, etc.
Robin Strathdee
I will add that if you're eating enough and feeling satisfied, and there is no medical reason to worry about the drop, then you're probably fine. Much of the initial weight loss/size change of a Whole30 comes from shedding water weight, changing gut bacteria and calming inflammation. My guess is that you'll level out by the end.
