Jinkse21
I have been delevoping itchy, red spots on the back of my hands as well as small bumps that appear every now and then and the only thing I can contribute it to is my consumption of avocado. I remembered that I did eat some avocado and guacamole before I started Whole30 and I guess it was around that time that it started. I have been eating avocados just about every day and the spots and itchiness seem to keep coming. I am going to lay off avocados for the next week to see if there are any changes since that is the only thing I can think of that has stayed constant since before starting Whole30. If I am allergic to avocados, just shoot me now! Has anyone else found that they have a sensitivity to avocado?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted April 12, 2013 Moderators Share Posted April 12, 2013 Not eating any avocado for a week is a good plan. If you get better, you will know something important.

Jinkse21
UPDATE: After not eating avocados for 5 days then re-introducing them, I found that they do not cause problems for me! Yay!! I love me some avocados! Unfortunately, I have to eliminate Coconut Aminos from my diet. It causes my hand to rash out and get really itchy. CAK911
At least you found the culprit! Food sensitivities can take so long to identify.
