Collegegal82
What curry recipes do people use. I'm looking for something on the simple side to do as I've never cooked curry before... Thanks!
Moderators LadyM Posted April 20, 2013 Moderators Share Posted April 20, 2013 I've read there's a good one (or a few) in Well Fed, though I haven't tried those recipes yet. I've used many of hers, though, and every one has been wonderful. You can probably find one of her curry recipes on her blog, the clothes make the girl. annabel
I made Butter Chicken the other night, if you fancy an Indian curry, quite simple as well. The only slightly odd spice is fenugreek. http://everydaypaleo.com/better-butter-chicken/. My absolute favourite curry is http://smittenkitchen.com/blog/2010/02/chana-masala/ but it's a chickpea curry and I haven't tried a meat substitution for it yet. (I'd go with chicken though) It does use a lot of spices, so really depends on how well stocked your cupboard is. Otherwise, coconut milk and thai curry paste with whatever veg and meat you fancy. Beets
Mm. I'm going to try that butter chicken. Did you use the thighs? I make bone-in thighs all the time but have had less success using boneless. I always end up with chewy bits.
