Minamyna
So my husband brought home a bag of Bare Fruit Cinnamon Apple Chips, Ingredients are Apples and Cinnamon. http://www.baresnacks.com They are delicious, therefore I am guessing I probably shouldn't even with a meal? Physibeth
Dried fruit is something to be very careful of. Personally I would steer clear of these for your Whole30. They could easily be a food with no brakes.
jent103
They are delicious, therefore I am guessing I probably shouldn't even with a meal? There are so many delicious things that are totally encouraged on a W30! But like Physibeth said, dried fruit can be a trigger food for a lot of people. They do look compliant - maybe portion out this bag into individual servings, then ask your husband not to bring home any more?
CRCBN
I buy Bare Fruit Apple chips at Costco. Only one ingredient: Organic Apples. They taste great but they don't wake up my sugar dragon and set off binge eating for me like other dried fruit does because they are kind of tart and crunchy; not sweet and chewy like raisins. I like them with tuna & spinich salad for lunch. Only you can tell if they will be food with no brakes for you. IF they are, then avoid having them in the house. smgross144
I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering about these. I was excited to find these at Target (I bought the banana chips), but they felt wrong when I ate them, so I think they're going to have to be off limits for me. ; (
