msssjenna
I have terrible night sweats. I cannot sleep under my comforter anymore - just a light blanket. I always had them when I was breastfeeding, but I am no longer doing that. I chalked it up to the hormones, but not really sure what to point it at now. My house is around 73 degrees, my husband can sleep under the comforter fine. I woke up in the middle of the night last night and my sheets were drenched from my sweat. Any ideas? Bet
We used to have really bad night sweats. We had a foam mattress. We got rid of it and now have a sleep by number bed. Foam mattress or topper tend to retain heat. Also, I have the thermostat on 68 when I'm sleeping. Those few degrees can make a huge difference. I still get them sometimes, but I'm menopausal with a bum thyroid, so it's to be expected. But nothing like before.
msssjenna
Bet I'm pretty cheap so 73 is the lowest I will go. I wish I could put it at 75! I'm 27 with 3 kids under 5. I have bad anxiety at times and under stress. My life is pretty crazy. I'll look into a new mattress.
kb0426
Interesting, as this used to be me, but it was associated with what I was eating...at least that is what I found out after my whole30s! They are the worst if I consume alcohol or sugar.
melbournegirl
I get night sweats when I am detoxing, as well as related to my cycle. And since eating whole9 I am much warmer at night or should I say no longer need the extra weight pyjamas and thick socks. I used to have to sleep with my electric blanket on all the time too, but now I cant
