Physibeth Posted January 7, 2014 Share Posted January 7, 2014 Aside from the SWYPO line I've found almond flour crusts to be very heavy in my stomach. It is really easy to overdo nuts when you use almond flour. Post W30 doing it occasionally isn't bad, but you will get the best results from your W30 if you limit your nut intake. Paichka Posted January 7, 2014 Share Posted January 7, 2014 I made a quiche the other day that had sliced sweet potatoes as the bottom layer, almost like a crust. They got carmelized in the oven and were really good! I sliced them 1/4 inch thick and steamed them for a few minutes, until fork tender, before adding the rest of the ingredients.
