bkahle
Hello - Where can I find this chia pudding recipe that everyone is talking about? Thanks-
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted February 23, 2016 Moderators Share Posted February 23, 2016 You could probably google it but it is not something that we would encourage you to eat on Whole30. It's basically pudding, which is basically a dessert and it's not even close to meeting any of the template guidelines or recommendations (linked in my signature below). Moderators Tom Denham Posted February 24, 2016 Moderators Share Posted February 24, 2016 On this forum what we are saying about chia pudding is, "No!" The internet is full of people who are enthusiastic about making their "Whole30" as far from a Whole30 as possible. Don't follow them.
doedoechachacha
I think something that might help is keeping in mind that it's best to limit intake of seeds and nuts. And when you make the chia seed pudding, it's like purely eating seeds (with toppings like fruits and nuts that Whole30 also recommends limiting intake of). praxisproject
Some people also have very nasty reactions to chia seeds, for anyone who has never eaten them before. They're also not a great source of Omega 3, despite the hype. Salmon is much better
