Derval
Evening all. Day 23 7.15am - "quiche" & black coffee 11.30am - cc coffee 12.45pm - bacon & guacamole stack with salad 3pm - some pecans & grapes, last of the coconut. 4pm - another cc coffee to get me through my battles with ios6...and I have a PA committee meeting later 5.45pm - zuchinni bolegnase for everyone, yes no pasta cooked in this house tonight. dd loves it, the boys tolerated it, but plates were cleared nonetheless. jhmomi
11am - pecan pie Nak'd bar + cc coffee. I needed something to help me withstand the lure of the tin of chocolates I bought for trick or treaters... Chocolate is my Halloween weakness. I bought a cheaper kind, the flat, round ones with Halloween designs on the foil. Those don't tempt me like my favorite Butterfingers, Snickers, Twix, etc. I also bought sugar bomb stuff like Mike and Ike's that I can resist and also use for birthday goody bags in November for my boys if we have leftovers. And to lessen my guilt at giving out crap, I bought some glow in the dark eyeballs, spider rings and other little toys. One friend posted on FB that she told her kids they should give out healthier things for Halloween and one of them screamed "No! Don't make us THAT house!" And I want your delivery guy! Wow that's awesome!
Derval
I got these of which I will put 3 in each bag, along with glow sticks, tattooes and themed erasers I got. So very light on the sweets, and they're not the cheap cheap crud usually given/received...

I made them Thursday and ate the whole thing. Thought of you earlier while making myself a late lunch between games - shrimp salad with mayo, red pepper/sun dried tomato spread, olives and chopped celery on bed of romaine. Yum. Derval
Thanks your lunch sounds yummy! I put the leftover beets in a jar with evoo & balsamic - tasty! Strangely dh told me this morning they had turned his wee pink! In other news the clocks went back an hour last night, combined with my weekend lie-in - 11 hours in bed! It look like I also sleep very deeply all night. My glands were swollen & sore last night so maybe I was fighting off an infection. This morning I tried on my skinniest jeans , Zara waxed skinnies, us size 6. I tried them on at the start of W30 and they uncomfortably & unflatterringly tight, tried them on today & much better So that's good! A rainy windy day in Dublin today, it could be a long one! I prefer the zucchini noodles to spaghetti squash, mostly because they're so much quicker and easier to prepare, and this just took it to the next level. Thank you! Derval
Day 31!! yeeahaw Result stats - I feel/look slimmer so was intrigued to do some measuring this morning. 128.2lb>124.8lb bf - same bust same, belly -1inch!, hips, -0.5inch I will probably just see how it goes rather than doing a proper re-intro schedule I got these delivered yesterday and will try one later with my 11am coffee Ingredients are : Raw unsweetened coconut, raw almond flour**, raw cacao, unfiltered maple syrup*, raw cold-pressed coconut oil, vanilla extract, Himalayan crystal salt so I can't imagine I'm going to react much...not physically anyway! I have our very boozy book club tomorrow night so will have some wine at that and make a call on the food offering when I see what there is...
