jeepifer
Is there a way to set my preferences, or a sort option, to see all new and/or unread posts since my last visit? I tried searching but didn't see this addressed anywhere. Sorry if it's a dumb question, but I really can't figure it out (and I'm usually fairly forum savvy). Moderators Tom Denham Posted November 8, 2012 Moderators Share Posted November 8, 2012 I don't know how to sort for new or unread posts either. If someone knows, I hope they share.
jeepifer
I can see "Latest" via my Tapatalk app (awesome!!!) but I don't want to have to be on my phone when I'm at my computer!
missmary
If you click on "view new content" (upper right) it will show you only posts that you have not already read, with newest on top.
jeepifer
Ooooh! I see, there are two TABS in the "New Content" area -- it defaults to "Forums" but if you click "Community" it has an option to "View New Content" Thanks!!! Thanks missmary! Susan W
Yup..."View New Content" is where I click every time. It's a great way to sort through the old and new. I scroll down until I hit a post that was posted at the time of my last visit and then I know not to go any farther.
jeepifer
Even better, when you're on the New Content page, there's a left sidebar that offers even more options, like "Content Type" and "By Time Period" where you can select things like "New since my last visit"

View New Content seems to do the same, but maybe that's because I am here a lot so I keep up with the New Content every time I visit.
Tiffany Precissi
If you make sure to mark forums as read (at the bottom) before you leave each time, then when you hit 'view new content' upon returning, only those new since you last came to the site will appear. Oh good one. I've never noticed that. Trying it right now.
