Manda
My apologies if this has been covered. "V-8" is too short to search for. I'm not planning on buying any V-8, but I have a can of it in the fridge, and don't want to blow my whole 30 on day 20. But I would like to drink it. I don't see any off-plan ingredients, but wanted to make sure!
Carlaccini
The only one that rings bells is potassium chloride - which according to wikipedia could be responsible for intestinal discomfort. So personally for me it would be out. However I would wait for a mod to weigh in on this one before drinking it or not drinking it.
Robin Strathdee
Manda - check it for added sugar, etc. We don't love the idea of juice as a drink, but I've heard you can make a killer soup with it!
LydiaL
I was wondering this as well. Would it be ok as an ingredient as opposed to using it to replace veggies? What abut if one was travelling and there wasn't anything paleo compliant available?
Manda
Ooh, a soup is a good idea. No sugar in it. If I drank it, it wouldn't be to replace any veggies--I'm eating plenty. I just don't feel like throwing out two perfectly good cans if I can use them.
SpinSpin
I often use v8 juice in soup as part of my broth--think 'that' canned veggie soup and it is really good!
