chick256
I just finished 30 days on Saturday and began again on Monday. Yesterday I had a really sore throat and took Tylenol. I usually use lozenges to soothe my throat. Any suggestions for relief? Thanks. Mary

golden
I make a concoction using hot water, lemon juice, cloves, cayenne, and garlic. I boil it for a little while. Normally I add honey too, but I found it soothed my throat and decongested me even without the honey.
Kirsteen
I swear by sage tea. It's been used for centuries for sore throats. Red sage, I get it from the herbalist, is best but in an emergency i've still had great results with sage out my herb rack. As a bonus i also love the taste of it. kshacklett
gargle some salt water - I always forget how well this works until I do it! The only downside is you have to be at home in front of your sink, but it will get you some relief.
chick256
Thanks for these great ideas. I've been drinking lemon tea with ginger. I'll try the sage too.
Maycat
The tea called Throat Coat is helpful too. I would down ginger and lemon tea when I have a sore throat as well.
