ShaydeyMyst
I am trying to find an almond milk that is okay to consume while on Whole30. The best option I can find at my local store is Silk PureAlmond Unsweetened Original All Natural Almond Milk. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Silk-PureAlmond-Unsweetened-Original-All-Natural-Almondmilk-32-fl-oz-Pack-of-6/33655423#IngredientsAfter reviewing the ingredients, I think they are all compliant, but I am not sure about the "Sunflower Lecithin". Is it okay to have?
Guest
Not sure as I've only had homemade. I just read this article about store bought almond milk and found it interesting..thought I'd share http://grist.org/food/lay-off-the-almond-milk-you-ignorant-hipsters/
Guest
I think anything lecithin is out though
JJB
It's fine. You can get quicker answers if you just search the forum, FYI...this question has been asked multiple times. Here's one post: http://forum.whole9life.com/topic/16519-silk-pure-almond-milk/?hl=lecithin
Robin Strathdee
That one is okay, but all the points in the article linked above are very valid. Go for a handful of almonds and a glass of water instead
illumine8
Thanks for the topic and the reminder to just home make it. Nutribullet rocks.
mparsonage
I couldn't find a compliant almond milk, but some whole food stores carry compliant flaxmilk! (sorry I don't remember the brand, but the box is purple....) For any vegetarians that may be here, it's a good source of Omega 3s!
