kimmykins
Hi All: I tried to search for this topic, but could not find much. Specifically, I made a broth/stock from my leftover spatchcocked roasted chickens. Added potatoes, shredded chickens, carrots and celery. My daughter would like some macaroni noodles added. I'm wondering if I can still eat the soup? I won't be eating the noodles as they would be relatively easy to avoid, but should I be concerned about starch from the noodles leaking into the soup? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted August 31, 2015 Administrators Share Posted August 31, 2015 Have you added the noodles yet? I would just cook her some macaroni separately and let her put in as much as she wants into her bowl. That way everyone wins!
jent103
I'd do the same as ladyshanny!
kimmykins
Unfortunately, ladies, I have added the noodles already. I'm guessing you all would err on the side of caution and refrain?
Administrators ladyshanny Posted August 31, 2015 Administrators Share Posted August 31, 2015 I personally would not eat it, no.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted August 31, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 31, 2015 No. You would be consuming grains because the substance of the noodles - grains - oozes into the soup.
Hannlib
I wouldn't eat that. It'll be totally contaminated with wheat.
