kb0426
I am afraid not, unless you are planning on cooking with it . Well, I might be responding from what I would do. I will let a moderator make the real ruling, but I believe drinking juices of any kind are out.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted April 18, 2013 Moderators Share Posted April 18, 2013 No carrot juice during a Whole30. No juices of any kind really. We want you eating whole foods that include the juice and the fiber. It's not just that extracting the juice and throwing the fiber away is wasteful, your body digests juice faster than whole foods, so you don't stay full as long drinking juice as you would eating the same amount of whole carrots. And that sets you up to eat more when you might not need to be eating more.
MelliebuStacey
Plus, you don't get to crunch on them. The best part of a carrot is the crunch
Grandmamadukes
Makes sense. How about Elderberry extract that I use as a supplement with a tiny bit of water?
Robin Strathdee
Mamadukes - Check that extract for unwanted ingredients. If it's clean, you're good!
