Jonica
I can't add much to the wonderful advice given by the other ladies, just wondering if there is Respite Care in the area? With you caring both, I'm assuming you will not be working outside their home, so you should definitely qualify. You are going to need a break, some down time, and a chance to breath in peace. Also, if you have been heavy on the sugar, you could really use the extra help especially in the first week as you kick the sugar dragon. Be sure to read the timeline and be prepared for it, it's no joke! (Spoken as one who rolled her eyes at it the first time and failed to eat the necessary protein and fat to carry me through the first week. It almost knocked me out until clever moderator clued me in.) I do know i will be right there with the sugar dragon. Dont start until monday but i have stopped drinking the sodas. coffee with truvia and cream stayed so i may be ranting the first week or so! LOL! i remember how it was in july. But, I truely feel that I will need to stay with this way of eating most of my life. Just too many issues going on with my body.
