deedssleeze44
Is rhubarb acceptable during a whole 30? Also what about Metromint water its ingredients are purified water, mint and cocoa or cherry essence. Thank You Dede
Roz Griffiths
rhubarb shouldn't be a problem, as long as it's not dipped in sugar probably give the flavoured water a miss though
PamH
As long as you don't dunk the rhubarb in sugar, it is a great and full of fiber. I would avoid making a W30 compliant 'dessert' out of it, though. The water seems OK to me. I assume it isn't sweet. Cocoa essence water doesn't sound that tasty.

SummerGirl
Rhubarab is fab in salsa for the fish, just saying Ooh sounds interesting Nadia. What do you do with it to make the salsa?
Nadia B
There are several variations. 1. Rhubarb, cucumber, cilantro and lime juice (bit of honey post wh30;). Pepper, salt and a bit of neutral tasting oil. You can add bell pepper too! 2. Rhubarb, apple, onions, lime juice and jalapeno. Do you need exact proportions? I will find it then in my bookmarks, but it's a simple google search one as far as I remember, I wing it usually.
SummerGirl
Great, thanks Nadia. Do you cook the rhubarb down before adding other ingredients or use it raw?

Nadia B
Raw. I peel it if it's too tough.

Nadia B
Report back! These go well with white fish or chicken. Salads too, obviously.
