That said, just like coconut water this should be treated like a light fruit juice & only used in endurance sport, or where your work leaves you prone to dehydration. No. If you wanted to put maple sap directly from the tree, in your water, go for it. It's the boiling down and concentrating of the maple sap that creates maple syrup.
