Diane Halu
I have had Fit Tea before, not for weight loss purposes, but just to boost my immune system. Since I will be focusing more on tea than coffee for my whole 30, I was wondering if it was okay to have Fit Tea. Below are the ingredients; Organic Green Tea Oolong Wu Yi Garcinia Cambogia Extract Pomegranate Organic Rooibos Ginger Stevia - concerned about this ingredient Honey - concerned about this for what I read in my book Guarana Citric Acid Sea Sale Lemon Juic Matcha Green Tea Thanks in advance! Derek`
Your concerns are accurate. No added sugars/sweeteners on whole30. No artificial sweeteners (Stevia). No natural sweeteners (honey). This tea is not compliant
Karen_Suep
Stevia isn't artificial as it is a plant... However, it is still not compliant.

Administrators ladyshanny Posted July 19, 2016 Administrators Share Posted July 19, 2016 Stevia isn't artificial as it is a plant... However, it is still not compliant. Stevia leaves as they grow out of the ground is a plant. The white powder or drops that they sell in a store is as chemically processed as it comes and should not be considered natural at all, despite the excellent marketing to the contrary that the stevia industry pays. Processing is done with a variety of chemicals, such as, methanol, arsenic, ethanol, acetone, etc. http://janeshealthykitchen.com/the-toxic-truth-stevia/
