jmcbn
Shannon linked to a recipe in thread which most likely inspired this one....http://forum.whole30.com/topic/37048-if-liver-is-healthy-why-does-it-taste-like-that/
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted June 3, 2016 Moderators Share Posted June 3, 2016 Actually, what I linked to in the other thread was a place to buy compliant braunschweiger. The only kind I've ever tried is the one I linked to, which was definitely not sweet. I've never tried to make my own, but don't understand why there would be sugar (but then, I've said that about bacon, and deli meat, and mayo, and all kinds of other stuff, so what do I know?). This recipe looks compliant if you really want to make your own.

Medowsweet
It is not remotely sweet. But neither is baccon, or deli sliced roast beef. I hate when they put sugar in non-sweet food for no good reason! Yoguet and spaghetti sause I can see because you DO taste sweetness but MEAT?!? it's like how they put -salt- in Coca-Cola. What?!? Karen_Suep
Makes you thirsty so you drink more coke. It also accentuates the sweet. Obviously to drink more coke.
