Beef Heart; Recipe needed!

I'd love to know how you get on with it and how you find it. Until now heart is something that has never even even crossed my radar :huh: But I'm definitely getting braver. i know where I could get one so I'd kinda like to try it but I'd like to hear how you get on first. Still a bit of a coward :mellow:

I like it roasted in the oven, stuff the pipes with a nice stuffing of your choice. Needs to roast for about 20 mins a pound at 190c or 360f, baste with fat during the cooking and you can serve with roasted vegges.

Do you have a local butcher who will grind it for you??? 95% of salami is made from heart.... Very tough.... If you can get it ground up some way and add 25% GF FAT trimmings to it, you could make great pâté, sausage, ect... Or just slow cook it until fork tender ( 4 hours. Lol)
