shelley417
Just came from WF. All dried cranberries have sugar and/or canola oil
MJam
Do you need them for a specific recipe? or just plain eating? Try making your own...set your oven to the lowest temp it will go and put them on parchment paper and let go for like 8 hours. Or you can try some non-chain hippie food stores. kshacklett
I can't find them anywhere either. I might just make some myself, or just stick to the other dried fruits I can get without added sugar.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 2, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 2, 2013 Whole Foods typically stocks two varieties of dried cranberries... one sweetened with sugar and one infused with apple juice. The sugary ones are brighter and the apple juicy ones are darker.
Renee Lee
For clarity, the apple juice ones are compliant...but don't go crazy!
jrustdc
If you can't find them at your Whole Foods, nuts.com has fruit-juice sweetened cranberries.

Michele West
If you have a Trader Joe's nearby, they have an unsweetend cherry that might work.
rachieleah
I used to be able to find compliant apple-juice-sweetened dried cranberries at Whole Foods and online, but in the past few months all of those now list sunflower oil as an ingredient, to keep the cranberries from sticking to each other. So now I can't find any dried ones that are truly compliant.
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted September 9, 2015 Moderators Share Posted September 9, 2015 I used to be able to find compliant apple-juice-sweetened dried cranberries at Whole Foods and online, but in the past few months all of those now list sunflower oil as an ingredient, to keep the cranberries from sticking to each other. So now I can't find any dried ones that are truly compliant. The Can I Have list says sunflower is one of the oils that's technically okay but should be limited. If you're occasionally using the cranberries in a recipe or salad, it's probably not a big deal, although for many recipes you can sub raisins or other dried fruit instead if you prefer. If you're using them a lot, then you might look into making your own as mentioned above.
EmilyK
I found them at Fresh Thyme, if you have those in your area.
